Ye’d better be, because we’re plottin’ a course to Treasure Island! This free update features a brand-new room in which you’ll be able to explore a vast island that’s said to hide an invaluable treasure. We are incredibly thankful for their never-ending creativity, so without further ado.

Last month, we also revealed that Escape Simulator VR is now in development! It would mean the world to us if you could add Escape Simulator VR to your Steam Wishlist, as it helps us immensely. Speaking of treasure, we are also opening up a treasure chest filled with assets for builders to design their very own tropical settings with! That's because as of today, we are adding a whole bunch of palm trees, beaches and many pirate-themed objects to the in-game Room Editor! We are also adding a new water logic prop (and it's awesome!) We can't wait to see what the ever-so-talented room builders will create with all of these new items. This update contains the biggest level in Escape Simulator so far: Treasure Island! This pirate-themed level provides the freedom to explore a vast island hiding a secret treasure chest filled with gems, jewels and other valuable items. If you need some help with reverting your settings you can file a bug report on our Discord and we'll do our best to help you out!Īhoy there, mateys! In case you missed it, last month we released a brand-new, free room update for Escape Simulator. You can search for "puzzle" to find all of them in the text reader. Find all puzzle components you want to revert and paste their settings into the Room.room file on the exact same position (you'll need to do some detective work to figure out which puzzle props match). Open it and the original Room.room file with some text reader. This will revert only the puzzle props but it's harder to do.įind the same backup file as mentioned in 2. This will override you Room.room file and delete any changes you made, so you might want to make a backup of that old Room.room file as well (just to be safe). Copy and paste it to your room folder and rename it to "Room.room". Choose one of the backup files that was made before the update. Go to your UGC room folder and find the Backups folder inside. This will revert any changes you've made to the room since last night. Revert to a room backup from the Backups folder.
